Reflection : Blog Task

 What can I say about this blog is it make my task easier. This is because it is no need to submit it by hand for example the company that we have interviewed. Just post it in this blog and all done. With this blog, I also learn how to use it properly. This is because I don’t like blog and it makes me difficult to understand the way to post my reflection at first. I think it is because of my own mindset. Hate it, and then don’t want to learn it. That is the problem that I identified on myself. This blog also can be use as a platform for us to sharing ideas on topics or issue given. From that, I can learn and think more on the others idea and then the new idea might be produced based on the different ideas. So, thanks to all friends who give their help and share their knowledge in class. Hopefully in the next class, we will experience and make another blog like this to make our task easier and better.

Reflection: oral portfolio

In presenting the portfolio, I learn the best and the appropriate ways to promote myself in front of others. I need a lot of confidence in order to present it better. Because of the time given is only in just 4 to 5 minutes I need to plan strategically to ensure that I can present efficiently by the time given. So I can learn to build up my confident level through my presentation. For me, it is not easy to talk about and promoting ourselves. This is because, might be it is too much and make the others get annoyed easily because of our ways of promoting. So, from this task, I can learn the way or rule which is not to use the language that sounds too arrogant and looks show off to others. It will effect negatively on the people impression and perception about us. And the most things that I have learn is the way of the others promoting themselves. So, I can learn and use it as a guide when I presenting my portfolio in the future.

Reflection: digital portfolio

In producing the digital portfolio, I have learned that skills to make the creative portfolio can contribute to be the one who will be selected. This is because nowadays it is hard to find the creative employee. In additions, with the increase use and the technology itself we need to be more creative and use it effectively. Then, the ones who evaluate our portfolio will have a good perception on our skills. This is because sometimes, the difference with others makes us better and unique. From this, it will give us advantages more than the other candidates. And for sure, we might be able to grab the job that we want. I learned how to put the link at my portfolio, choose the right colour, the current and best activities that can impress the evaluator by showing the certificates as a proof.  This is because the interesting portfolio can attract people to see more about us and I’m sure it is not easy to forget the interesting one if compared to the others even the candidates are in a large number.

Reflection: interview

In the interview session, I have learned that confidence level is the most important thing in order to make sure that we are able to compete with other candidates. Just tell the interviewer about us confidently without worrying that the others will look down on us. However, we need to avoid not too arrogant while telling about ourselves but not too humble and tell the negative side. This is because we should promote ourselves in the interview session in order to get the job that we want. Just like in the CV and application letter, I learn how to highlight the best about myself to present during the interview session. After 2 times of interview session in class, I already learn the way the interview was conducted event it is not the real interview. The interview that we will participate needs us to be prepared before entering the interview room. Be well prepared before the interview can give a high possibility to be chosen by the interviewer to be part of their organization as a newcomer.

reflection : Myline

Participating in MyLine forum give me an opportunity to give my opinion on some issue that currently occur in the work environment. Time to give our opinion is enough because the due date is almost the end of semester. When I go through the Myline forum I can see that many different ideas from the other students. All of them have their own opinion on the topics provided. Some of them agree with the statement and topics given and some are not agree and some stated that it have its own pro and cons. From the forum, I can read the different opinion and it makes me think deeper on their opinion. Their knowledge that different from me give me the new idea that I can use as a reflection on the topics given. The topics that I have chosen are about the graduate attitude and habits bosses love. These two topics make me excited to give my opinion since it is related to me, myself as a graduate who will find a job in the future and surely will have a boss in workplace.

Reflective: curriculum vitae

When I’m doing my curriculum vitae, I learned that I need to plan strategically on how should I produce my best CV in the most creative and effective ways. It is very important to produce the best and the better one. This is because there are a lot of applicants who are also seek for the same job. In our class Mr. Ghazali Hj. Bunari have showed us the interesting and creative CV that made by different job seekers. Actually it is a way to attract the ones who read our CV. In additions, CV has a possibility to give a good impression on us and this can increase the chances of getting the job. A well written CV plays an important role in giving us the opportunity to be selected by the organization. The content about ourselves are includes the current address, educational background, skills, personal details, work experience, telephone number, gender and so on. It should be in an efficient CV which is in a way to promote ourselves and we need to show all the positive side in our personality. It is very important so the employer can choose the best to hire.

Reflection : application letter

From what I have learned, when I’m doing my application letter, the important things about us is the crucial part. It is not much but only a few and important info that can attract the ones who read our application letter. I learned that we just put the most powerful information and it is better when the information content can be related to the job that we search for. This is because, with the application letter, there will be resume that already show the details about us. So there’s no need to put it all in the application letter. Just use the appropriate language, in nice sentences and make sure that it does not show that we are too desperate to get the job. In producing the application letter, there must be our address and also organization address. The paragraphs that we produce are about three which is the opening, middle and the closing paragraph. Every part is need to write strategically and efficiently about ourselves in order to make sure that out letter is good enough to attract the company.

Reflection for Career Plan

Maria binti Pudin (AH100118)

      'Career Plan'. What i have learnt in this topic is what we want to be in the future and how we want to achieved it  which is the action that  we need to be done in accordance with proper learning. In order to develop and achieve my career in the future, I need to plan it wisely. The assignment on this topic also taught me how to plan my career.Its include the types of skills and knowledge that needed for my dream job. In my presentation before, Mr.Ghazali said that maybe it is better to start my business at the early age of 30.Actually, I think that i should change or plan my career again but i still want to involve in business and just as a second job(hobby) especially after my retirement.So, I hope that , my dream to develop my career through planning will be achieved successfully in the future.
