In this task, it helps me a lot in creating my own career plan. I can see clearly and vividly what I want to be in the future. Previously, I never think of my career plan process but, this subject makes me realize about it. Hence, I can develop myself starting from now on in order to achieve my career plan. This task is quite challenging as I need to finish my presentation within 5 minutes and Sir Ghazali seems a bit strict in giving marks. It is good actually as it helps to motivate me in improving my presentation skills. I will put those of my friends who are lucky to get higher marks as my competitor or inspiration, so that I would have some effort to be like them. I will keep any critiques from Sir Ghazali as the booster in my process of enhancement. TQ

reflection of career planning

Besed on what i had learn about career plan, I know that it is very important to have our own career plan for the future.  It is because when we make plans it will facilitate our career path in the future. Furthermore, with the career planning, I can be more aware and understand my future job description that I would apply later. I will also be able to know the qualifications needed for my job position depending on my career development phrases. To do the presentation I had search more about the career and ask from the professional so that I can really understand my job to be. It actually help me to do preparation before went to the real job after graduate. Actually it is difficult for me to deliver the presentation in front of many people. So I take this as a challenge to improve my confidence level. Finally, my advice to everyone is to plan their career effectively and do more study and need to fully understand the job before we meet the job. “choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”

Assalamualaikum and good morning.

What I had learned from my career planning is I know how to plan my career after I graduate. Initially, I do not know what actually I want to be. But when I studied in Human Resources Development, I know what I want to be. In addition, I am taking English Career Search, I know my career planning. Actually, what I have presented was really my planning. But for the company, I hope I can work there but since lately, there was no problem at the company, so I think I will try to other company. For myself, after the presentation, I have gained my confidence to talk in front others but that was not really great. I am still nervous but one day I will fully confident and very fluent when talk to others. 

MY REFLECTION ON CAREER PLANNING SUBTOPIC

From this career plan activity, I can now have ideas on what I am going to be in the future. To be frank, previously, I do have the plan but it is not that clear. Now, praise to Allah as I can see vividly my own career process and of course, it helps me in planning my own life. Before deciding on to be a lecturer, I did some homework, go Google here and there and also, I met with Mr Faizal, our faculty’s Assistant Registrar, and asked him about the career as a UTM lecturer. One thing to be considered while choosing your career is, you have to take into account your passions and whether you enjoy doing it or not. Earning money is something, but earning money while enjoying it is definitely something. Life is like an ice cream, so let us enjoy every licking of it!

Hi and assalamualaikum everyone. I hope you'll may have a great day in this mid-semester break ^_^

First of all, I will reflect about career plan that I was presenting last week. The career plan actually is quite good for those who want to plan their job in future. Before this, I still don't have any kind of job suitable for me in mind. I have some problem to know what skills that I have and suitable to what jobs. When our lecture Mr Ghazali asked to do a career plan as a requirement in this subject give me some sort of idea and planning to my own career. From the assignment given, I think have gained some knowledge about the job details, job requirement, company details, and most important thing the career development. The career development itself had shown me how much that I need some experiences or skills to move up to the next level of job. Although I don't have real ambitious about future jobs at this age and its really funny when at young age have high ambitious even don't know what skills needed for that job. Maybe I still don't have enough skills as I have many weaknesses rather than strength. I knew some others people whose they are really good and really  impress me about their strength that I don't have it. I'm not really good at all like them.

But I will try my best to furnish my weaknesses become good strength like them or even better. I will use this learning from career plan in order to ensure I would carefully planning for my future career.

Last but not least, the quotes from Galileo Galilei which he say that " You cannot teach a man anything. You can only help him discover it within himself".

On the topic of career plan, I have learnt about how to plan, manage and forecasting the future job that I want to deal with. A good planning must have few stages that starting from bottom until up. It should consist of short and long term goals and also processes to go through in order to achieve my dream job. Before planning for the career plan, I have to know my abilities area and what type of job that was suitable for me. Since I have to do a presentation in front of the class, I have search the information that was related with the career that I want to develop. It helps me a lot since I can be prepared and get to know more about the job and be familiar with the tasks assigned for that job. Lastly, I believe that what I have learnt in this class will help me in the future when I enter the working environment.

      'Career Plan'. What i have learnt in this topic is what we want to be in the future and how we want to achieved it  which is the action that  we need to be done in accordance with proper learning. In order to develop and achieve my career in the future, I need to plan it wisely. The assignment on this topic also taught me how to plan my career.Its include the types of skills and knowledge that needed for my dream job. In my presentation before, Mr.Ghazali said that maybe it is better to start my business at the early age of 30.Actually, I think that i should change or plan my career again but i still want to involve in business and just as a second job(hobby) especially after my retirement.So, I hope that , my dream to develop my career through planning will be achieved successfully in the future.

           Basically, there are so many things I learnt in English for Career Research class for past 8 weeks such as personality test, survey in the organization, professional interview and so on. All these activities really gave me a good knowledge as well as some funs. The most challenge part for me is career plan presentation. I know this is a chance and time for me to know detail about my dream job which I never try to know it before and I cannot just simply present a job that I have not interest in the class. Therefore, this time I took an effort to conduct a short interview with the person who works in the organization that I would like to work in the future. So that, I could give a good presentation in the class. Lastly, I believe that all the things that I have learnt in Career Research class surely help me for my future career. And I’m really appreciating it.

What I’ve learned in this topic is about how I want to plan, manage and prepare on my future career. Career plan consists of long term and short term objective, the process, and the explanation on each of the job. When I start to plan my career, I need to explore first about my interest and abilities in what area. Then I’ll know what job suit to my personality. Through this planning, I can design properly on what I going to achieve in my future career. When I presented my career plan in front the class, I felt nervous because this assignment is for individual assessment, so I believe on myself that I can do it! Whatever is it, I must try my best to do this presentation with great success. However, I can’t finish the presentation on time, I felt disappointed with that. But, it’s ok. At least, I’ve try my best to finish this presentation. Regarding the marks that have been given from lecturer, I feel that it’s ok for me, but I must put an effort to do more in the future presentation.

Career Plan? Is that important? At the beginning, I thought career plan, is one of the topic that we must learn in career research. But, after Sir Ghazali explained and asked us to do our career plan.   Now, I knew that career plan is important, and actually it is very important especially to student like us.  Because, honestly I say that I don’t have any idea on what I want to be in future.  It’s like just follow the flow.

But, after I got the assignment from Sir Ghazali, I know that I must find one job that suitable with my personality. And, finally I found that I want to be a Police. So, I must know the police job description and the stages. I will start with police inspector and if there have luck, I will establish my own business. Career plan as guidance to me, based on my strength and weakness, I can make a preparation on what I want to be and achieve long term career goal in future.

Antoine De Saint-Exupery quotation is a great example of how important is to plan our career to make it become reality. The career outline I have drafted after identified my strength and weaknesses provide me with big picture about my future career development phrases. 

The career outline provides me the path that I need to take to achieve my dream job. Besides, the career planning presentation encourages me to improve my communication skill and also increase my confidence in delivering my presentation in front of class. Furthermore, I also get insight about the responsibilities and skill that I needed to be successful in my future jobs.

In a nutshell, the detailed career outline help me to understand my career prospects and encourage me to work harder toward achieving my short term and long term goals. Finally, I recommend everyone to always have a plan to know the next step in achieving your goals.

Most of students do have their own career plan.  It same goes with me.  With career plan, I can start to develop some skills that related with the HR field.  The assignment has taught me how to plan career and what kind of skills that are needed for that job.  From all the presentation, I looked that different people have different kind of dream or job that they want to achieve.  And of course different kind of job require a different kind of skills and qualifications.  As for me who wants to be as HR Assistant for the first job, at least I must develop the skills of using computer application starting from now.  It will be easier for me in the future to get the job and show good performance.  During my previous presentation I saw a lot of weaknesses.  It begins well but at the end of the presentation I am not able to conclude well.  I also need to develop critical thinking so that, I can answer easily and confidently when lecturer asks the questions.

Hello....

In my opinions, based presentation of career plan, there are many benefits that I getting from that activity. After I graduated about 2 years later regarding the career plan, I will more prepare about my dreams jobs. I wish and hope that I can fulfill the flow of my career plan starting to become HR executives until to become General Manager in the future.  During the presentation, I feel more confidence to speak in front and communicate with audiences using English languages. I think the presentation is good because we must speak up and think our own words without looking to notes. Besides that, we also using opening and closing sentences that can grab attention of the audiences such as “how are you today?” or “are you ready to my presentation?”.  I can use it for the next presentation that to make my audiences will more attract to my presentation.

In the career search class, there is presentation about our career planning that was conducted. The career planning is about my career plan starting after graduate until  I retire. 

There are few benefits that I was received from this career planning. I have to plan my career start from graduate until I have retire. The career planning can be a guideline in my career, for instance after my first job as Human Resource Executive , I will promote Senior Human Resource Executive. Then I will move to the next jobs until I get position as General Manager in the company. So, I must improve the skills that need for perform the job effectively such as communication skill, leadership skill and others.

Last but not least, career planning is able to give myself preparation to apply the job in order to achieve what I plan in my career planning.

Hello everyone... today i want to share my reaction about career planning. Career planning I've done is the result of personality test that proposed by John L. Holland which explain five types of personality. Types of personalities were realistic, Investigative, artistic, social and enterprising.

My personality test result indicates my compatible type of personality is enterprising.  Therefore, I have drawn up my career plan of 24 years until retire based on the personality result.  

When I was given the opportunity to plan my own career outline, I get to know the importance of planning to develop myself.  Besides, career planning identify my short term goal and long term goal which underline the crucial part I needed to take.

I feel the career planning encourage me to move forward in achieving my ambition.  Hopefully, I will be a good workforce and able to contribute to the company and also my country.

Presentation about the career plan had give and opportunity for me to plan my future career.  Other than that, through the presentation also I had a better understanding about my future which is what I want to be after I graduate from the university.  Moreover, when planning the career I had a serious thought what can be done to achieve my dream job.  Thus, career planning allowed me to find and explore the skills; knowledge and ability that must I have to apply the job.  Therefore, I had a clear plan on what should be done after this.  Therefore, I hope through the career plan that had been made I can achieve what I want to be in the future.  Other than that, it also allowed me to be prepared and more confident to apply the job since I had a better understanding on the job.

            Based on the first activity about career planning, I find that each people have their own career plan that they want to achieve in the future, as well as I who have an ambition to become a general manager. I also find that, people always chose their career based on their interest and also their personality. But interest and personality is not sufficient to achieve that career but are required people to have knowledge, skill and also afford to achieve that goal. So, as a first stapes  for me to obtain that career ,   I need  to plan my career and  set my short term and long term goal  starting from now. I also need to identify what is the process to obtain that goal like what I’m doing today, I already taking degree on the human resource development to get the knowledge and skill as requirement for me to get that position. So, I hope I can achieve that career in the future.

Career planning can define as career planning activities related to the individual, to keep themselves equipped with the appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities reliably in a chosen career field. Individuals should know their personalities and interests to ensure they choose the right career path. My career plan start with HR Assistant manager, second HR Manager, next HR Director, then move up to CEO and the lastly, I want to become a successful business woman in tourism area. When I deliver my career plans, I was not satisfied because time is very short, and my slide is too long also I did not give the introduction and the closing as desired by the lecturer. It makes me a little disappointed. However, it is useful to be used as a guide in the future, so that I can do a better and complete presentation. The best way of learning is through experience.
