My Reflection on Digital Portfolio

My digital portfolio is using a PowerPoint slide. Actually I am not creative but still I have to try to be creative. When making the slide, I know how to use the hyperlink. Even though it is too late, but I am feeling happy to know that. When the presentation class, I have seen my friend’s PowerPoint and I am amazed. They are really creative and I want to learn that. I hope I can creative like them. I am really enjoy with their portfolio and had known the better because I had known their profile, education background, their personality and so on.  

DIGITAL PORTFOLIO'S REFLECTION

Digital portfolio is one of the activities that can be produced either by power point, flash or video. It depends on the students’ creativity. I found that, my classmates are very creative as all of them produced such unique, attractive slide shows. Their portfolios are also very nice and beautiful. I remember that, Sir Ghazali did mention that the portfolio is used to promote ourselves. Most importantly, it must include our reflection towards the activities that we joined before. From that, people can see our skills and capabilities. Others try to use a simple word and different template when using power point in order to attract the audience to watch the portfolio. In this activity, I learnt how to make a wonderful portfolio. (123 words)

Reflection : Digital Portfolio

 For me, to create a digital portfolio is not easy. It should have the elements that attract the attention of the interviewer and make sure they like it with. For the first time I made a digital portfolio, I need help from my friends and lecturers. Digital portfolios can be made from a number of styles with flash player, video, blog, or Microsoft Power Point. At the outset I want to use power point, but I want to do something else other than using a flash player. It is indeed difficult to handle at the beginning is. Finally, I managed to also complete digital portfolio using this flash player. In the process of making a digital portfolio, that I have learn a lot of new things. I can develop my skills in using software like flash player, video or other. It was very interesting and I hope I can make a digital portfolio in the near future.

My Reflection on Digital Portfolio Task

During the final week of class, each of us was assigned by Sir Ghazali to create a digital portfolio about ourselves. In this digital portfolio, there are a few things need to be included.  For instances, my profile, educational background, achievements throughout my life and also working experiences. As for my digital portfolio, I made it by using power point and I really enjoyed myself while finishing it. This is because, I have to make it creatively and colourful, to ensure that it will attract the audiences’ attentions. I made my power point slides attractive by inserting pictures of mine and also the use of unique, attractive fonts was really helpful. I made it for only 10 slides as during the day of the presentations, we need to present only on the important points and also on the reflective parts as the time is very limited.

Reflection about digital portfolio, I was used Microsoft PowerPoint during the presentation because I already more familiar using this PowerPoint software before this. I need to be creative to organize my information in the slide show PowerPoint in order to attract the audients.  In digital portfolio, it was includes my profile, educational background, curriculum activities, from the field (training program and interview at JKNJ and Johorland) and also my resume.  Besides that, I also show my certificates and some pictures as proven.

The digital portfolio is shows my past background and also my past achievement. From this digital portfolio, I can share with others about my background and also the achievement from my past experience. Another point, the digital portfolio can make me become more creative and learn to be creative. This is because we need to shows our profile and achievement in the digital form. Therefore, I need to make the digital portfolio looks interesting to audience. This digital portfolio is important as it will shows our profile portfolio to others who maybe some of them was attract with our personality. Last but not least, this digital portfolio also can be use as one of the alternative to replace the curriculum vitae. 

DIGITAL PORTFOLIO / WEBFOLIO.

Based on my experience, completing this portfolio is some kind of interesting and quite unique. This because I need to think and recall all my memories towards the experience that I want to shared with. According to Paulson et al (1991), portfolio is a purposeful of collection of work that exhibit the student’s efforts, progress and achievement in one or more areas. 

I have understood that the portfolio will show the students improvement in the knowledge, skills or abilities after they have gone through in some activities. In my portfolio task activity, I have included my details profile, my personalities test, my education qualification, curriculum activities and my working experience. We need to make it creative, attractive and provide our achievement.

Reflection: Digital Portfolio

To create the digital portfolio, I prepare myself with discussion with my lecturer and my friends. Then, I decide the method to deliver my presentation. Firstly, I decide to do it by creating a blog to include my portfolio.  But then, I discover the Prezi flash software which I find interesting and interactive. So, I ask my friends who familiar with the software to teach me. The software is very easy and quite enjoyable to create. With the guideline from my friends, I learn how to design a good flash video. After that, I create my own flash comprising my portfolio using this Prezi software.

 The digital portfolio displays my achievement in academic and extra-curricular activities with evidence. I include the certificate that I obtained as an evidence for my involvement in every activity. This task encourages me to be creative and also improve my technical skill in using multimedia.
