Reflection : My Line

MyLinE is a good medium for students to learn English. For this semester, an assigned task is different from last semester. This time, we are tasked to answer two of the forum to give any comments or suggestions. It is very good for students because they can generate their ideas to a situation. Among the topics that I have the answer are about fresh graduate attitude during interview and personalities to impress boss. Share opinions in the forum is a great alternative for students because they can express what they feel is right and not right. For me, this MyLinE can help students improve their skills in using English. Moreover, MyLine activities also give many benefits to student in order to enrich the English in themselves. 

My Reflection on MyLine Task

One of the tasks given by Sir Ghazali to us is we have to participate ourselves in the MyLine portal. The task is quite easy as we only have to give our opinions or comments on the topics listed. We have to choose to write opinions on two out of three topics given. As for me, one of the topics I chose entitled, ‘The Attitude of Fresh Graduate When Attending Interview’. After reading the article, I am strongly disagree to the writings as it stated that fresh graduates nowadays are very demanding and have extremely bad personalities. As for me, not all of the fresh graduates are behaving that way, and plus, each of us are having different type of personality. The author cannot simply claim that all fresh graduates are bad just because of one spoil graduates. Besides, graduates must possess good manners in order for them to be hired by the company.

Reflection : MyLine Activity

The MyLine Activity is one of requirement for this English subject. I was already known about MyLine because I had done before this but for this time I have different experience about MyLine. We have to give opinion about the topic given and it is actually give me some input about that topic. This is because I had to find information first before I give the opinion. Therefore, from this activity of MyLine have give opportunities to me to learn new things and information. In addition, this MyLine activity also give chance to share idea and thought about that topic which in another perspective may improve my thinking skill in order to become more creative. Last but not least, this kind of activities will enhance the creativity and innovative of student from many skills such writing, thinking, and others. For me, I gain experienced; learn new things; and also improve my knowledge skill.

Nowadays rapid changes of technology bring the various types of advance learning method, which is using computer technology and via online. For example, MyLine. Based on my previous experience completing MyLine activities, it is quite different because this semester the activities required us to give an opinion, share the ideas and need to think out of box related to the topics that have already been given. There are three topics that are been given and we need to choose only two topics. However, I have completed the activities by answering all the questions. This happen because of I couldn't open the instruction due to the weak connection of networking. From this experience, we can conclude that there are several disadvantages of the application that should be considered and need to improve in the future such as the misunderstanding that will happen due to the low of network connection.
