Reflection : Oral Portfolio

While we show our digital portfolio, we must give some of explanation on what about we want to present such as our profile, personality, education background, working experience or extra curriculum activities. We must present it in a short time that is 5 minute only. It is difficult to us to do it in a short time. Many of the students in my class are exceed the 5 minute. All of them present in a hurry because of the time. Besides, while presenting the portfolio, the voice of students must be loud because to not make the other felt boring. For me, it is very nervous and my sound not so clear because of my English not well. So, because of the carry mark, I do it my best and confidently. But it still not well enough but luckily my digital portfolio have attract the lecturer to give the high grade on that portfolio.

My Reflection on Oral Portfolio Task

The digital portfolio has finished, and now, it is the time to present it to everyone. Each of us was given only 5 minutes to present our portfolio and of course, I have to use that limited time to talk about the portfolio and most importantly, I must give some reflection on the achievements or activities I joined. Well, talking about the achievements made me think of the sweet memories and I was all excited to share it with my dearest friends. Regarding the marks, Sir Ghazali gave us marks based on our slides and also our presentation. While delivering the presentation, I remembered an advice given by a friend of mine. She said that, presentation is not only about your attractive slide shows. But, it is all about you presenting yourself. The way you are going to make sure everyone locks their attentions to you, it is the most important after all.

In the oral presentation, the lecture have give some comments about what is the best when become a presenter. The eye contacts is most important as it can make the audience attract with you and understand the content delivered to them. When we were in the stage talking to the audience, we must always to smile so the audience will feel happy to see, hear, and understand the topic given by us. However, I always have some problem in the oral presentation as I will feel nervous in the stage of audience. Then, my presentation will not contribute the good target because I am still not to attract the audience to ensure they are want to hear what I will spoke to them. Another more thing, I have still problem regarding to make my presentation looks nice and interesting. Thus, for the next presentation I hope that I can improve my lack skill and try to become more confident.
